Antimicrobial resistance and stewardship
Antimicrobial resistance is a major global health threat and our members are at the forefront of addressing this issue. Over the last few years, we have delivered several international webinar series on the topics of antimicrobial resistance and stewardship with speakers from around the world.
As part of a Memorandum of Understanding between the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) and the College, faculty from the UK and Nigeria collaborated in the summer of 2022 to provide a series of interactive online events delivering antimicrobial stewardship training to Nigerian healthcare professionals.
Our global antimicrobial resistance webinar series explores different topics of antimicrobial resistance and stewardship. Each webinar starts with a UK speaker providing an introduction to the topic followed by 2–4 international speakers providing the perspective from their respective countries.
