A 2-day practical residential course delivered by the UK Anaerobe Reference Unit, with the aim to improve the standards of anaerobic microbiology in clinical laboratories.

TOPICS COVERED

A mixture of theory and practical, the morning is spent in lectures delivered by the ARU and registrars and the afternoon is spent in a lab practical with the aim of offering a basic level of competence in methods used for their isolation and identification of clinical anaerobes.
