Our Foundation Lecture was delivered live and online by College Fellow, and former Deputy Chief Medical Officer of England, Professor Sir Jonathan Van-Tam. He talked about ‘Lessons learnt during the COVID-19 pandemic and his contribution to the UK Vaccines Taskforce and the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation’, touching on what it was like to be in the eye of a media maelstrom. Professor Van-Tam also took questions from the audience following his presentation.
