The College has published a new brochure that collates information on the vision and mission of the College, the key services we deliver and the wide array of member benefits available.

All of this serves to communicate the overarching value of College membership.

Getting the most out of your membership

The College strives to advocate for better recognition, investment and working conditions for pathology professionals. However, we cannot do this alone. Your participation and engagement are crucial in driving positive change within the profession.

Whether you are new to the College or have been with us for years, this brochure explains how the work of the College supports you as an individual and the wider profession. It also details the many ways you can get involved in our activities that advance excellence in pathology, both in the UK and internationally.

This brochure forms part of our campaign work, to reach out to the pathology workforce and promote the work of the College more broadly.

Please explore the brochure and discover how you can make the most out of the College resources available to you and your overall membership experience.

What’s inside the brochure?

Find out more about these benefits in the ‘Your College, Your Membership’ brochure.

How to get involved

The College functions because of the willingness of our members to dedicate their time to our activities, understanding their inherent value to the sustainability and advancement of pathology. The more of us who work together to pursue this common goal, the stronger our voice will be in advocating for our workforce and profession.

Volunteering at the College provides opportunities to network, learn from colleagues, and gain new skills and experience. The College is a diverse community and there are many ways for you to get involved. From joining committees, contributing to consultations, supporting examination activities to writing guidelines, your expertise and engagement is vital.

Explore our roles and find out how you can support your College, your community and your career.

The College is the members, and it’s only if we members engage that we can achieve things. The more of us that get involved, the stronger we will be. I’d encourage every member who has a view on how we should work or what the future of pathology should be to get involved.
