The Institute of Biomedical Science has published its response to NHS England's Long Term Workforce Plan.
Welcoming the release of the IBMS’ Long Term Biomedical Scientist Workforce Plan, RCPath President, Professor Mike Osborn said:
`The Royal College of Pathologists continues to strongly support the appropriate expansion and development of biomedical scientist roles. A well-qualified, well-resourced and diverse range of medical, scientific and other health professional roles working together as an integrated team is vital to address workforce shortages and to provide the best service for our patients.’
