What does the role entail?

As Clinical Lead for Guideline Adjudication, your primary responsibility will be overseeing the consultation comment response process for pathology guidelines. You’ll ensure that authors have reviewed and acted on feedback appropriately, maintaining alignment with national and international standards where relevant.

Key duties include:

  • Consultation oversight: Review consultation comments online, ensuring that all responses are satisfactory and have been properly addressed.
  • Collaboration with authors: Work directly with guideline authors to ensure transparency in their feedback responses and required amendments.
  • Clinical sign-off: Provide clinical approval of the consultation reports and revised guidelines, ensuring quality and accuracy before publication.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with the Professional Guidelines, Publishing and Digital teams, along with various subject matter experts, to finalize and publish updated guidelines.
